Over the decades, the International Commission for Dalit Rights (ICDR) has fought to defend Dalit rights and Dalit justice ecosystem. We and our allies have faced threats, harassment, intimidation, and violence while protesting caste discrimination and demanding equal rights and inclusive representation of Dalits and other marginalized groups in democratic institutions. Despite the challenges, ICDR has become stronger and a global leader fighting against systemic casteism and for Dalit rights movement. Therefore, we fight to eliminate both systemic and structural casteism and inequalities to promote social equity, justice, and equality. ICDR will stand strongly against all types of repression and threats.
